RUGBY ONTARIO TO HOST COACHING DEVELOPMENT SESSION IN OTTAWA (JULY 6)

 

Ontario’s rugby coaching community is invited to participate in a coaching development session at Twin Elm Rugby Park (4075 Twin Elm Road; Nepean, Ont.) on Monday, July 6.

The session will be led by Rugby Ontario High Performance Manager and former Scottish Rugby Union age-grade coach David Butcher, and will focus on:

1. Ball Management through the Tackle
2. Achieving Positive Presentation
3. Clearing Technique

All rugby coaches, including club and high school coaches, are welcome to attend this coaching development session.

Following the session, digital resources will be provided for all attendees.

Rugby Ontario Coaching Development Session – July 6, 2015
5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Registration in the Twin Elm Rugby Park Clubhouse
5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Clubhouse technical session
6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. On-field practical session with players
7:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Clubhouse recap, Q&A session, video
8:00 p.m. Post-session social


There will be a $20 pre-session registration fee to attend the coaching development session, and a $30 fee for coaches registering on the day of the session. All proceeds will be put back towards coaching development.
