Ottawa Touch Rugby and the Eastern Ontario Rugby Union will once again host ‘Rugby on the Hill.’ The event takes place to honour Corporal Nathan Cirillo, who tragically died on October 22, 2014 while guarding the War Memorial, and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent, who was struck and killed in a hit-and-run incident just days earlier.
All are welcome to Parliament Hill October 22 to pay their respects, and to thank Parliament Hill Security Services, Ottawa Police Services, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Ottawa Paramedic Services, and the members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Ottawa Touch Rugby and the Eastern Ontario Rugby Union are asking for donations from all participants, which will be given to the Military Families Fund and/or ‘Soldier On’ on behalf of the greater rugby community.
