UpcomingEORU Sr. Men Fundraising Dinner 2017

Fundraising dinner for the EORU Senior Men’s Representative Team

Greetings from the Senior Men’s Eastern Ontario Rugby Program,

Lying dormant for over a decade, Eastern Ontario Senior Men’s representative rugby is back. Last year’s revival saw seven different EO clubs represented in two trial matches that produced two similar results: a convincing victory over Quebec, as well as one over Team Ontario’s Emerging Blues. Those victories paved the way for two EO players to be picked up by the Ontario Blues en route to a National Championship.

Our region has the talent and potential to continue to produce quality rugby, and rugby players, just as it had done in its ‘heyday’ in the 1980s, 90s and early 00s. With more matches slated for the 2017 season, the team could use any possible support to help cover costs for team expenditures including travel and a new strip (the team wore the quite billowy Canadian SuperLeague jerseys circa 2002 last year). There is a rich history and a lot of pride inherent in Eastern Ontario rugby, and the players and management are excited to continue that tradition going forward.

We are having a fundraising dinner at the Red Lion restaurant in the Byward Market on Wednesday night July the 19th and the cost will be 50$/person.
It will be fun night with a non-rugby related master of ceremonies, as well as newly-inducted Rugby Canada HoF member Al Charron.

Tickets are available now, with payment via Credit card, Interac email transfer or Paypal:
