Most clubs are actively recruiting and all of them are committed to developing players and the sport in Eastern Ontario. Full training is provided and all you need is a pair of cleats.

Check out the club listing and contact the one nearest you! All the clubs belong to the Eastern Ontario Rugby Union and some interlock with la Fédération de Rugby du Québec. Most of the matches take place on Saturday afternoons between May and September. Practices are usually held in the evenings on weekdays. Many of the games take place at Twin Elm Rugby Park; a magnificent sports facility and home to 4 clubs, 5 pitches and two bars!

Rugby will be making its Olympic debut in the summer of 2016 and is arguably one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It is a full contact sport which originated in England in the early 19th century. It is based on running with the ball in hand with a ban on passing the ball forward.  Players can gain ground only by running with the ball or by kicking it.
