What got you into rugby?
Both of my parents played rugby at university and with the Ottawa Irish.  They always had talked highly of their rugby memories so I decided to give it a try and ended up falling in love with the sport.

Favourite aspect about the sport?
One of my favourite things about the sport is that there is a position for everyone and it’s very team orientated.

Do you have any pre-match rituals?
I just try to get a good nights sleep the night before and I have a high energy meal.

Why did you choose to head to St.FX for university and what will you be studying?
I loved the idea of a smaller university and close-knit community. When I toured there it was a beautiful campus with an incredible athletic facility. The amazing rugby program is a big bonus! I am taking a Bachelor of Arts and hoping to take a teaching degree after.

What are you most looking forward to?
I’m most looking forward to hopefully getting back on the field soon and playing with girls from all across Canada in the fall, while enjoying all the new university experiences.

What has been your best rugby moment to date?
One of my favourite rugby memories was going to Acadia University in Nova Scotia for the Eastern Canadian Championships in 2018 with EORU.

Do you have any advice for those interested in giving rugby a try?
Just give it a try and don’t be scared, it’s a lot easier then it looks!
