Six Eastern Ontario Players Named To Canadian U18 Squads To Tour Overseas

Rugby Canada announced the squads for their respective U18 men and U18 women tours earlier this week, with six athletes representing EORU clubs making the final rosters.

On Monday, coach Dean Murton named Thomas Davidson, Nicholas De Lallo and Steven Ng to the U18 men squad that will face off against three Irish Development programs in the span of 8 days. All three impressed during the east regional camp held in Kingston last month.

The tour begins with a match against Munster on March 26th.  A midweek match follows against Connacht on Wednesday March 30th. The tour finishes on April 2nd against Leinster. The Canadian squad departs for Ireland on March 22nd.

On Tuesday, Rugby Canada announced the U18 women’s squad that will take on the U18 England squad. EORU athletes Taylor Donato, Annie Kennedy and Alex Lippmann all made the final roster after a series of regional camps, beginning in Kingston last October.

The U18 women will play the U18 English women on April 5th and 9th. Both matches will take place at Bicton College in Devon.
